What this site is. Laundry Signs is a free informational tool. Verdicts, glossary meanings and guides explain care symbols in plain words to help you decide — they are guidance, not professional textile-cleaning advice.

Your label decides. If our verdict ever differs from your garment's own care label, follow the label. Manufacturers test their fabrics; we interpret generic symbols. We accept no liability for garments damaged after following (or mis-tapping) site content — when in doubt, ask a professional cleaner, especially for wool, silk, leather and structured garments.

Acceptable use. Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't scrape, bulk-copy or re-host substantial parts of the glossary or chart; link to us instead. Symbol drawings here are original, but the underlying ISO/GINETEX symbol system is trademark-protected — don't present our renditions as official marks.

No warranty. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Availability, translations and verdict logic may change as the standard evolves.
